Solid Rock provides construction aggregate materials and services to the construction industry. Most of the aggregates we produce are used by the ready mix concrete industry, in the construction and maintenance of highways and roads, housing, buildings, and commercial and industrial projects. The remainder has been used in non-construction uses including agricultural, landscaping, and many other applications.

Clay Gravel

Clay Gravel

Clay gravel is used as a foundation layer. Clay gravel is typically used when building a new road or driveway. It is also used to build up existing driveways to form a crown in order for water to shed. This product contains 30% rock, 70% sand and clay.

Oversize Rock

Oversize Rock

Oversize rock also known as dirty oversize is used in low pumping areas, wet spots in roads, or areas where heavier construction traffic is present. This product is screened through a plant and consist of 1 to 3 inch rock. 85% rock and 15% clay.

57 River Rock

57 river rock

This is a clean product with many different uses. From driveways to drainage. This product consist of a combination of 3/8 to 1 ½ rock.

67 RIver Rock

67 river rock

This is a clean product with many different uses. Basically the same as 57 rock but more pea rock added. 3/8 to 1 ¼ rock.

Pea Gravel

Pea gravel

Pea gravel is smaller rock consisting of ¼ to 3/8 in size.

Mason Sand

Mason Sand

Used for brick laying. Typically yellowish white tint.

Crushed Gravel

½ crush rock

57 rock run through a crusher. Finished product consist fractured face pea rock and small particles of rock. This product is comparable to crush concrete and crush limestone just cheaper.

57 Limestone


Basically same gradation as 57 and 67 river rock. This has fractured faces on all sides of rock and is white in color.

610 Limestone Base


Crushed limestone is a combination of fine particles to 1 ½ rock.

Rip Rap


Rip Rap is comes in several different sizes ranging from 4 inch to 12 inch rock. This is used on big wash outs and erosion control.
